“The Oxomiya fabrics I use to create my line comes out of textile that that has been woven without harming anything in Nature,” she says, quietly sipping her mug of her ginger tea at a posh and amazingly tasteful, Guwahati hotel. Nandini collection ‘Upakarma’ is the genesis of her commitment to a “responsible , sustainable and

plant-based lifestyle”. She preferts to keep her work; her use of whites, beige and gold arise from compassion, her roots and strength. “She believes in a world where “You can be anything, anybody but be kind to all beings, co-exist and live kindly”.
‘Upakarma’ is the result of a 10-year journey as an animal rights activist. Her attire stands testimony to her belief that fashion must be cruelty free.
